The Raiders baseball team capped off a 4-1 week with a night at Dozer Park rooting on the Chiefs! We missed those that couldn’t make it but it was a fun night out at the park! Go Chiefs and go Raiders!
The Lady Raiders hit the road to play PORTA at 9:00 AM today.

The Raiders baseball team scored 1 in the first, 1 in the third, and then 3 in the 5th inning on a huge bases clearing double by Josh Dawe to beat the Delavan Panthers 5-4!
Ryan Terrill reached base 4 times and was the winning pitcher going 5 and 2/3 innings, scattering 3 hits while striking out 11 and allowing only 1 earned run. Zayne Arthalony notched his first save, striking out 2 in his 1 and 1/3 innings of work!
Kam Merrill was also 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.
The win puts the Raiders at 4 - 0 with a home game against Brimfield Friday afternoon!
Today the MCMS baseball team hits the road to take on Delavan at 4:30 PM.

Ryan Terrill blasted a 2-run home run and Joe Proehl fired a complete game shut out as the Raiders baseball team remained undefeated with a 20-0 victory over South Pekin!
Joe Proehl was the victorious pitcher scattering 2 hits while striking out 6 and the Raiders played error free baseball behind him.
On offense the Raiders pounded out 10 hits with Jaxson Robinson and Colton Watts each picking up 2 hits and Robinson and Zayne Arthalony each picking up extra base hits. It was a total team effort as 11 different Raiders had RBIs!
The Raiders play again Thursday at Delavan!
The Lady Raiders defeated Bloomington at home 16-1. Grace Meeks, Amelia Meeker, Houston Butler, Abby Markle, Julia Rasmussen, and Alyssa Gauwitz each collected a hit for the team. Julia Rasmussen led the team in RBIs with four. Grace Meeks was the winning pitcher, allowing one earned run with one walk and three strikeouts over three innings of work.
The Raiders plated 8 runs in the first inning and never looked back, cruising to an 11-1 victory over the Illini Central Cougars!
Zayne Arthalony got the win on the mound, striking out 7 over three innings of work. Jaxon Tumilty came in the final 9 outs and struck out 3. The Raiders also committed no errors!
The Raiders picked up 7 hits on the afternoon with Ryan Terrill going 3-4 with a 2 doubles, a triple and 1 RBI. Grant Rasmussen picked up 2 RBI and Joe Proehl reached base in all four plate appearances, going 2-2 with with 2 walks and 3 runs.
The Raiders move to 2-0 on the young season and look to keep it going against South Pekin on Tuesday!
