Green Valley Park Basketball Courts
Games will begin at approximately 3:00 after conclusion of the Midwest Central Jr. High Baseball game.
Divisions will be 4th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade. If any players on a team are in 7th or 8th grade, then that team will play in the older division. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each division.
All players must be a current student at Midwest Central, Delavan, Havana, Illini Central, Olympia, Illini Bluffs, or Tremont. Teams can be a combination of players from any of the schools.
Entry Fee is $40/team. Contact Jason Proehl at 309.208.4250 to enter a team. Please arrive by 2:30 on the day of the tourney.

The Lady Raiders defeated Hartsburg-Emden 17-0. Grace Meeks, Amelia Meeker, and Ava Warner each threw an inning for the Raiders with Meeks collecting the win.

Midwest Central defeated South Pekin 13-7 thanks to a strong start. The Lady Raiders scored on a double by Mckenzie Gale in the first inning, a single by Amelia Meeker in the second inning, a single by Emma Junkin in the second inning, and an error in the second inning.
Midwest Central collected 14 hits on the day. Amelia Meeker, Julia Rasmussen, Grace Meeks, and Mckenzie Gale all managed multiple hits for the Raiders. Amelia Meeker went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Midwest Central in hits. Midwest Central tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Emma Junkin led the way with three.
Grace Meeks took the win for Midwest Central. Grace went seven innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out nine and walking one.
Today our Lady Raiders hit the road to take on Hartem at 4:30 PM.

I just wanted to make you aware that from August 5th-14th sales tax for Back to School items will be reduced. I've attached a link to an IDOR document that explains it further. If you scroll down to the 3rd page it provides a list of items that will be sold tax reduced those dates.
