I know there’s excitement in the air with the potential for a snow day this week! Just some reminders. If the weather is indeed bad, I try to make a call by 5:30 AM to cancel school. I’ll send out a text message, phone call, post on FB, and send an email if school is cancelled. If I cancel school this week and for some reason you’re not included in the messaging, don’t be offended, just let me know so we can find the error and get it fixed.
As far as this week goes, we'll have to wait and see what we get before we can make a decision. Thanks for your understanding.

7th grade beat Farmington 25-23, 9-25, and 8-25. Amelia Meeker had 13 aces along with 7 hits. Addison Friedrich had 9 hits and Eliza Kerley had 7. Emma Junkin had 10 aces.
8th great beat Farmington 25-19, 18-25, and 28-26. Amelia Meeker scored 15 points with 5 of them being aces. Kally Richardson had 3 hits and 3 blocks. Lexi Wood had 3 hits.

At the DeeMack tournament on Saturday the 8th grade team beat Lincoln 25-15, 16-25, and 15-9.

Students can buy a coupon from the school Raider Store that lets them invite a teacher to lunch. It is always a special privilege for a teacher to get invited. Today Mrs. Appell got to eat lunch with these two nice, young ladies; Emalyn Wooding and Brook Byrd. We even shared our cake with birthday girl Cally DeSutter. Happy Birthday Cally!! Thank you girls for making lunch time special.
April Danner, the Middle School head cook, gave every staff member a hand made hat for Christmas and we wore them to show our gratitude! We're very lucky to have such a caring staff member with such a big heart! THANK YOU APRIL!!
Today we supported and thanked Nurse Niki for being our "Professional Chaos Coordinator" through these days of covid! The staff appreciates everything she does to keep our student and staff safe and healthy!
The 8th grade boys’ basketball team will play in the regional games tomorrow. The game will be played at Mount Pulaski Grade School. We will play against Lincoln Chester-East Lincoln at 12:30 PM.

The 7th grade volleyball team won last night!! Hailey Thomas scored 13 points with 6 of them being aces. Amelia Meeker had 5 hits and Addison Friedrich had 4. 8th grade battled hard and lost in a close game of 23-25. The coaches are proud of both teams!
