Boys basketball tryouts will be next Monday and Tuesday here at the Middle School 3:00 – 5:00 PM. All participants must have a physical turned in to the office before the first night of tryouts.
Student Council is hosting two fun activities this month.
1st-pumpkin decorating. These are due to Mrs. Dean no later than October 20. Parents will vote on these during parent/teacher conferences and there will be a prize for the first three places.
2nd-dress up for Halloween on October 29! There will be a contest for best dress and the top 3 winners will receive a prize.
Congratulations to the 7th grade Lady Raiders on their win against Illini Central last night. Leading scorers were Eliza Kerley with 11 and Cally DeSutter with 6. Way to go, ladies!
8th Graders Jenna Tucker and Camryn Grashoff purchased Task Passes to help a teacher. They dedicated their time creating a Bulletin Board displaying 7th grade student work for “Freak the Mighty” and organizing copies of upcoming assignments. Well done ladies!

Dismissal times are PS - 11:40, MS - 11:20, and HS - 11:30.

The trip to Elevate Trampoline Park for those that qualified from our fundraiser will be Wednesday, October 20. Permission slips need to be turned in by Monday, October 18.
The cross country team wrapped up their regular season last night with a great performance on their home course. They will travel to Bloomington for sectionals Saturday.
MSXC athletes: there is NO practice today, but Coach Bowden wants everyone at practice tomorrow, a Remind message will be sent out with details.
MCMS Cross Country team has a home meet tonight starting at 4:15 PM.

Cheer on our MCMS cross country team as they travel to Delavan for a 9:00 AM meet. The bus leaves Manito at 7:45 AM and the MS at 8:00 AM.
