Flu Shot Clinic for Students - Thursday, October 20, 2022
MCPS students will ALL have forms sent home. MCMS and MCHS students will need to request sing up forms from the student's respective school if they would like to participate.
Registered nurses from the Mason County Health Department (MCHD) will come to each of the schools and administer the flu vaccine injection to students who have turned in their completed forms. A list of insurances that can be billed are listed below, otherwise cost will be $40.00. If paying for your child’s vaccination please send cash or check payable to MCHD.

Please have your child wear a short-sleeved shirt or dress in layers on October 20th, since the injection will be given in the upper arm. If you have any questions feel free to call the Mason County Health Department at 309.210.0110.
A couple of quick reminders for our Raider Community about bus safety.
Please make sure you are aware and alert when driving around school buses on and off of school property.
Passing a stopped school bus with the stop arm out and lights flashing is illegal at any location.

Congratulations to both the 7th and 8th grade Lady Raider basketball teams on their wins against South Pekin. It was a fun small-town game with great fans cheering on the girls. What a great day to be a Raider!
The Girls Basketball team will host South Pekin tonight starting at 6:00 PM.

7th Grade Girls beat Tremont 26-10 last night. Cally scored 12, Ava 6, Mia 3, Kara 3, Elizabeth 2. It was as great team effort as everyone played in the game.
Boys Basketball tryouts are right around the corner!
Tryouts are on the first day of practice, October 17th.

The 7th grade Lady Raiders beat Limestone Walters with the score of 25 to 10. Leading the way scoring were Cally 10, Kara 9, Mia 4, and Jaylyn 2. Great team effort, ladies!

Any boy interested in going out for Boys Basketball need to sign up on the sign up sheet outside Mr. Zuercher’s room by the end of the day tomorrow! In order to go out, you must have a current physical turned into the school before practices and tryouts begin.
The Girls Basketball team will host DeeMack tonight for their season opener! Game time is 6:00 PM.
