
Recently the Snow Buddy program received a generous $1,000 donation from Randall Hendrickson, Manito Masonic Lodge #476. We can’t thank the Masonic Lodge enough for this wonderful act of kindness. It will help purchase gifts for Midwest Central students at Christmas.


7th grade Midwest Central/Delvan girls basketball ran their record to 7-0 with a 42-21 win over Illini Central last night in Easton. Kenzie Doty lead the balanced scoring with 18, Peyton Bernshausen added 11, Nora Jockisch made 2 3's for 6 points, Julia Rasmussen had 4, Nora Dierker made 2 free throws and Charlie Green made 1 free throw and played great defense.
The 8th grade Midwest Central/Delavan girls basketball improved their record to 6-1 with a win against Illini Central 42-18. Kara Lowry hit 9 free throws and 2 bunny shots to lead the Lady Raiders. Cally DeSutter did a nice job distributing the ball to her teammates while adding 9 points. Mia Warner, Ava Warner, Jaylyn Diekhoff, Jakiya Ware-Jackson all added 4 points each.


The Lady Raiders will travel to Illini Central tonight for a 6:00 PM game!

Thank you MCMS PTO for buying special eclipse glasses for 6th grade Science classes to view the solar eclipse on October 14 and April 8th.


MC/D 7th grade girls basketball moved to 6-0 in a defensive battle at Havana Tuesday 17-8. Peyton Bernshausen led the way with 8, Kenzie Doty had 5, Nora Jockisch and Julia Rasmussen each contributed 2.


Our Lady Raiders will travel to Havana tonight for a 6:00 PM game.

8th grade Lady Raiders improve to 5-0 after beating Broadmoor 36-13. Cally DeSutter drove in a game high 15 points. Right behind her was Kara Lowry with 8. Jaylyn Diekhoff threw in 6 points from outside. Guard, Willow Gomez, added 3 points and Leyla Danner put back a rebound for 2. The girls are playing well and a fun group to watch!
The MC/D 7th grade Girls Basketball continued their winning ways beating Pekin Broadmoor 24-8 Thursday night. Peyton Bernshausen led the balanced scoring with 12, Kenzie Doty had 6 points, Nora Jockisch 2, Sophia Holeman 2 and Julia Rasmussen 2.

88 and 110 respectively. The Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.

MCMS/Delavan 7th grade girls basketball won their 4th game at South Pekin 31-17 last night. Kenzie Doty had 14 points, Julia Rasmussen had 7, Peyton Bernshausen had 6, Nora Jockisch 2, and Sophia Holeman 2.
The 8th grade Lady Raiders are on a roll! Defeating South Pekin 45-18. Another night of balanced scoring! Leading the way was Kara Lowry with 15, Jaylyn Diekhoff lit up the floor with 12. Right behind her was point guard Cally DeSutter with 11. Helping secure the win were Mia Warner with 5 and Ava Warner with 2.


Today, the Lady Raiders hit the road to take on South Pekin at 4:30 PM.

MCMS/Delavan 7th grade Lady Raiders Girls Basketball won their home opener over Tremont 37-12. Kenzie Doty paced the Raiders with 21 points, Peyton Bernshausen had 14 and Nora Jockisch had 2 points to improve to a 3-0 record.
The 8th grade MC/D Lady Raiders defeated Tremont last night 35-15. The Raiders started out slow in in the first quarter, but picked it up the pace with balanced scoring in the second and fourth quarters. Leading the way was Cally DeSutter with 10. Following close behind with 8 points each were Ava Warner and Kara Lowry. Jaylyn Diekhoff hit 6 points to help lead the way and Willow Gomez and Kenzie Doty both added 2 points to bring home the win. Proud of our Lady Raiders!


The cross country team had another outstanding showing at the Delavan Invite over the weekend. Max Dierker had another great run. Jaina Butler, Connor Coile, and Sam Dierker were all in the 14 minute 2 mile range, while Isabelle Friedrich and Nora Dierker both had PRs in the 15s. The team will compete in their sectional on Friday, hosted by Normal Metcalf.


Our Lady Raiders will host Tremont tonight. Game time is 5:30 PM.
