The Golfing Raiders had a rough outing at the Tomahawk Conference Tournament in Bloomington today. Dalton Johnson persevered with an all conference performance finishing in the top 6. Congrats to him! The Raiders will be at the same course Wednesday for Regionals.

Ms. Rousseau's U.S. History 1 students spent Friday learning about Lewis and Clark's Expedition through the Louisiana Territory. They traveled around the room to different posted stations, following the adventure step by step! Students learned about the many obstacles of the journey, including waterfalls, harsh winters, the Rocky Mountains, and getting chased by bears! During the activity, students recorded their reactions as if they were on the Expedition, putting themselves into Lewis and Clark's shoes.

The Golfing Raiders finished their regular season with a triangular tonight with IB and North Fulton at Coyote Creek. The Raiders fought hard but lost both matches on an extremely difficult course. The Raiders finished the year with a 12-10 record. Their Conference tournament and Regionals will take place Monday and Wednesday next week.

History League held their first Trivia Party of the year on Tuesday! Students tested their history knowledge for prizes and had lots of fun seeing throwback photos of their teachers in the MCHS Staff History category! 1st place won gift cards and 2nd place won candy.

JV girls volleyball battled hard against the Farmington Farmers but took a loss after 3 games, 25-18, 21-25 & 7-15. Kenzie Doty battled hard with 7 assists.

The Lady Raiders came away with a win against Farmington in two sets 25-16, 25-13. The Lady Raiders were led in kills by Amelia Meeker with 11 and Eliza Kerley with 8. Senior Joslyn Dawe and Senior Lexi Wood both tallied 5 digs apiece. Mia Warner and Hayden Hasty contributed 2 blocks apiece to help the Lady Raiders improve to a 7-7 overall record.

The JV volleyball girls prevailed and beat the Delavan Panthers in 3 games 25-19, 16-25 & 15-11. Emma Markle led the team in service receptions. Great job Lady Raiders!

The Golfing Raiders had a successful night at the Clinton Invitational. The team finished in 4th place among a string field of 12 teams. Dalton Johnson finished in a very respectable 6th place finish out of 60 golfers. Collin Price finished in a tie for first place but unfortunately lost in a one hole playoff to come home with a second place plaque. Way to go!

The Lady Raiders took a 2 set conference win on the road against Delavan winning 25-20, 25-21. Amelia Meeker and Kayleigh Herrman led the team in kills with 11 & 9 a piece. Lexi Wood had 7 digs and Ava Warner contributed 2 solo block. The Lady Raiders are back at home Tuesday!

Mrs. DeSutter's Chemistry students are learning about nuclear reactions (fusion, fission, alpha and beta particles, etc) by playing the game "Nuclear Quest!" Chemistry is so much fun!

The Lady Raiders traveled to Roanoke- Benson today for a non-conference match. Varsity won in 2 sets, 25-16 25-21. The Lady Raiders were lead in kills by Kayleigh Herrman with 10 and Eliza Kerley with 8. Addison Friedrich tallied 4 digs and 8 service points. Emma Junkin contributed 16 assists and 7 service points!
