We are celebrating with dress up days and a trivia contest that will run in the library throughout the week.
Monday: Marvel-ous Monday/ wear your superhero gear
Tuesday: Team up for reading/ support your favorite sports team
Wednesday: Pawsitively wild about reading/ wear animal print
Thursday: Book Character Day/ dress up as your favorite fictional character
Friday: Harry Potter Day/ wear your Harry Potter gear or wear your Hogwarts House colors:
- Freshmen: Green and silver
- Sophomores: Yellow and Black
- Juniors: Blue and Bronze
- Seniors: Red and Gold


The Raiders won a highly contested 5-0 victory over the Lewistown Indians. Kyle Uselton out dueled his Lewistown counterpart in picking up the pitching victory. Kyle had 9 strike outs in the complete game win. Picking up two hits in the game were Eli Woodley and Kyle Uselton. The Raiders recording RBI’s were Kyle Uselton 2, Logan Justus, and Billy Pesha. Also having an outstanding defensive game behind the plate was Connor Allen.

The HS Boys track meet at Rushville has been cancelled for today.

It was a chilling afternoon, but the Raiders Varsity team were swinging hot bats, out scoring Peoria Heights 17-1. Collecting doubles were TJ. Pfeiffer, Karter Richardson, Connor Allen, and Billy Pesha. RBI leaders for Midwest Central were TJ Pfeiffer 2, Karter Richardson 2, Kyle Uselton 4, Billy Pesha 2, Collin Parkin 2, and Connor Allen. Picking up the pitching victory was Karter Richardson.


Battling through the cold and wind, the Raiders JV won again 4-3 over Peoria Heights on another walk-off, this time by Rylan Nowack! The Raiders scored 3 in the final inning with RBIs by Braden Johnson, Collin Parkin, and the walk off RBI for Rylan Nowack. Braden Johnson was the winning pitcher for the Raiders, allowing 2 earned runs on 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2.


The Raiders host Peoria Heights today at 4:30 with a V game start. JV will follow the V game. Good Luck Raiders!

Mrs. DeSutter's BSAA class has been working in the greenhouse to get plants ready for the raised garden beds at the high school. We have tomatoes, cabbage, cilantro, and peppers ready for the garden! We even transplanted 113 tomatoes today! Peas and cabbage are almost ready to harvest. We are ready for spring!

The Lady Raiders defeated South Fulton on Monday. Pitcher Kloe Norris took the win, allowing two hits, zero runs, and striking out eight over five innings of work. The team tallied eight hits in the game. Grace Smith and Karsyn Skaggs each collected two hits. The win brings their current record to 1-1.
