TJ Pfieffer picked up 2 RBI's with two hits. Karter Richardson continued his hot hitting with three more hits. Carrying the pitching load was Eli Woodley.

The Raiders won a nail biter 2-1 over the Illini Bluffs Tigers. Kyle Uselton provided the go ahead runs with a two run double in the 5th inning. Eli Woodley was a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate. Picking up the win in 2 2/3 innings of relief was Karter Richardson.

On April 12th the Raiders defeated Hartem 21-2. Leading the offense was Billy Pesha with a home run and 5 RBI's. Each having two hits for the Raiders were Karter Richardson, Kyle Uselton, TJ Pfeiffer, and Billy Pesha. Driving in runs were Brayden Johnson, Kyle Uselton (3), TJ Pfeiffer, Billy Pesha (5), and Cade Muhich. The winning pitcher was TJ Pfeiffer!
The Raiders collected their 2nd conference victory of the week by beating Mt. Pulaski 14-6. Leading the Raiders with a perfect 3 for 3 day with a home run was Karter Richardson. Also having a three hit day was Logan Justus and Kyle Uselton. RBI leaders were Eli Woodley, Karter Richardson (2), Kyle Uselton (5), Logan Justus (2), and Billy Pesha. Dominating the Hilltoppers with a 13 strikeout performance was Logan Justus.

DRUM ROLL.... and 🏆 1st place: Ethan Klaasen of Midwest Central High School, awarded a $5,000 scholarship and a $1,000 donation to Midwest Central's welding program! He earned first place out of 50 total competitors!! WAY TO GO ETHAN!!!!!!
We will be recongnizing Ethan at the MCHS Awards night on May 11th.
The Lady Raiders went 1-1 at the Lady Raider Classic on Saturday, defeating Lewistown with a final score of 5-2. Kloe Norris was the winning pitcher for the Raiders. Norris went seven innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out eight. The Lady Raiders collected eight hits total with Kylie Green and Jaden Watts each having two.
