Mrs. DeSutter's Physics student are testing their knowledge of Newton's 3 Laws today with a hands-on experiment. Students were given a challenge to see which group could accelerate a wooden car the furthest using only rubber bands for the force and a bottle with washers for mass.



Last night the Lady Raiders won their game against East Peoria 55-38!
Cora DeSutter led all scores with 33 points and 20 rebounds. Faith Harper scored 12 points and Makayla Morris’s 2 points. Karysn Skaggs had a team-high 4 assists including a perfect deep inbound throw to Carly Desutter. Carly also had a three-pointer giving her 5 points. Courtney Maslana grabbed an offensive rebound and Maddie Sidwell scored 3 points.
The Lady Raiders are now 2-1 and play again Wednesday in Brimfield versus Princeville at 2:00 PM with the boys team to immediately follow at 3:30 PM.

If you don’t have time or don’t like to shop, we have elves that will do the shopping for you. All you have to do is drop off your cash or check (made payable to Midwest Central with "Snow Buddies" in the memo line) to any of the school offices.
All presents need to be turned in by 12/12/22 to the Primary School.

Last night the Lady Raiders won their season opener here at home 58-34 against Heyworth. Karsyn Skaggs drained two threes for 6 points. Makayla Morris had 2 steals and Courtney Maslana played great defensive for the ladies along with Faith Harper's 18 points. Carly DeSutter nets 13 with a buzzer-beater to end the game, and Cora DeSutter added 19 along with Maddie Sidwell’s 2 points and 9 rebounds. The Lady Raiders play again Saturday in Brimfield.


Cora DeSutter signed with ICC to play basketball for the Cougars next year. Midwest Central is proud of Cora's accomplishments and wishes her the best of luck in her future.
