Mrs. Harbourn met with seniors over the past few weeks in regards to scholarships; following, she invited our Illinois State Assistance Commission (ISAC) representative, Jacob Harlan, to speak with our seniors. ISAC representatives help provide the support and resources for our students to carve a path to get there. In addition to the state grants and scholarships they administer, the ISACorps provide direct services to our students and their parents to help them navigate the process of education after high school- financial aid, college search, scholarships, and admissions, and more.
Jacob’s focus today was scholarships. He provided vital information on the scholarship application process. Mrs. Harbourn has posted his power point on the https://mchs191.blogspot.com/. You can find it under the Scholarship tab (bottom right). In addition to the resources on the blog, you can visit the following online platforms for national and statewide scholarships: cappex.com & niche.com.

One of our goals in physical education is to incorporate different types of fitness activities and for students to learn the benefits and the importance of being physically active over their lifetime.
