The maintenance crew has worked hard before break and during break to get the new bleachers set up before the first MS track meet on April 1. They had to fight the wind and elements this week to put the finishing touches on it.

Midwest Central Middle School’s Pi Digit Memorization Competition was a huge success! Our students amazed us with their incredible memory skills, and we’re thrilled to announce the top winners:

Scholastic Bowl continued the winning streak in both matches against Olympia last night!
A team won 175 to 120 and B team 110 to 70. 7 students answered toss ups. Cozy had 4, Hadley with 3, Liam, Aydenn, and Dakoda with 2, then Brooklyn and Jovie answering one each.
Good job team! Two wins this week is a great way to head into Spring Break. Next match is at Illini Central on April 2nd.

The sirens have stopped and students are being released and buses are being loaded thank you for your patience and understanding as we take pride in keeping our students safe.

Hello Raiders -
Out of abundance and precaution we have unloaded buses and have instructed our teachers and students to take shelter in our buildings until the tornado sirens stop going off in Green Valley. Our budlings are reinforced concrete and steel and the safest place for students to be at the moment. I will put out an all call when we've cleared the buses for home transport.

Scholastic Bowl beat the Rankin Rebels in a whole team effort with a score of 170 to 65 last night. 6 different members all scored tossups! Brooklyn, Cozy, and Hadley all with one; Hudson and Liam with two; then Aydenn leading the team with three! The team will face Olympia this Thursday at 3:30. Great job, Raiders!
