A New Look for the MCMS Softball Field!
The MCMS softball diamond in Green Valley has undergone an incredible transformation!
A huge THANK YOU to Brent Breedlove (BEB Excavating), along with Coach Weaver, Coach Goetze, and Dr. Hellrigel for their time, effort, and commitment to improving our facilities for our student-athletes.
With new resurfacing, fresh dirt, and updated field markings—including bases, home plate, and a pitching rubber—the field is ready for action.
We can’t wait to see our Raiders take the field this this beautifully updated diamond next season!

The Midwest Central Community would like to start a high school/middle school trap team as an additional extracurricular opportunity for our students. Several other area districts already have this as an opportunity for students as well as 4H.
As a first step, we are looking for a qualified team sponsor to help lead and support this program. All activities would follow established school policies and safety guidelines.
If you are interested in serving as a sponsor or have questions, please contact the Superintendent’s Office at 309.968.6868.
We appreciate the community’s thoughtful consideration as we explore this opportunity for our students.
