The Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by the MCHS National Honor Society on Thursday, March 2, was a huge success! We collected a total of 38 units, which surpassed our goal of 35 units. We are so proud our Raiders and our community! With each unit collected, one or more of our senior NHS members have an opportunity to earn a scholarship. The more units we collect, the more scholarship money we receive! The next Manito Community Blood Drive is on Thursday, May 4, at the Forman Center from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

Midwest Central Volleyball is having their camp again this summer for students in 4th - 8th grade next year. It will be held at the MS on June 12th - June 16th. Grades 4th - 5th will be from 9:00 - 10:15 and grades 6th - 8th will be 10:30 - 12:30. More information about the camp will coming out closer to that date.
Midwest Central Girls Basketball is having their camp again this summer for students in 2nd - 8th grade next year. It will be held at the MS on June 1st - June 2nd and June 5th - June 7th. Grades 2nd - 3rd will be from 9:00- 10:00, grades 4th - 5th will be from 10:15 - 11:15, and grades 6th - 8th will be 11:30 - 1:00. More information about the camp will coming out closer to that date.
Midwest Central Boys Basketball is having their camp again this summer for students in 3rd - 8th grade next year. It will be held at the HS on June 5th - June 9th. Grades 3rd - 5th will be from 9:00- 10:15 and grades 6th - 8th will be 10:30 - 12:00. More information about the camp will coming out closer to that date.
Midwest Central is having the Basketball Developmental Camp again this summer for students in 3rd - 8th grade next year. It will be held at the HS on Sundays starting June 11th and end August 13th. Grades 3rd - 5th will be from 3:00- 4:00 and grades 6th - 8th will be 4:15 - 5:15. More information about the camp will coming out closer to that date.
This week we celebrated our School Social Worker, Ms. Ranallo. Ms. Ranallo works so hard to build relationships, she is a bright light in our building, and everyone here appreciates her more than she knows. She LOVES rainbows and bright colors (fitting for her personality), so each day we surprised her with just that. She had gifts given, we wore bright colors, we ate bright colored foods, and she was showered with cards from students! Thank you, Ms. R for being you!
