The Raiders baseball team continued their strong play with a 5-0 victory over Lexington! Jaxon
Palmer was the man for the home team Thursday night, tossing a complete game shutout
scattering 4 hits and 2 walks to go with 8 strikeouts! The big right hander also contributed with
the bat, going 1-1 with a walk and a RBI at the dish! Zayne Hill also chipped in a hit and an RBI
for the victors. In game 2 action the Minutemen and Raiders tied 2-2. Max Dierker went the
distance for the Raiders, allowing one earned run on 6 hits and whiffing 5 in his 5 innings of
work. Jaxon Tumilty was 2-2 and Bo Schnoor chipped in an RBI. The Raiders look to continue
their strong play with a game at Lincoln tonight! Players will be dismissed to dress at 2:15 today.

The Lady Raiders defeated Creve Coeur Parkview 19-4. They scored on a walk by Houston Butler, double by Mckenzie Gale, and an error during Julia Rasmussen’s at bat in the first inning. The Lady Raiders scored eight runs in the fourth inning to finish the game. They team totaled six hits in the game. Grace Meeks and Mckenzie Gale both collected two hits to lead the team. Ava Warner surrendered four runs on nine hits over four innings, striking out two and walking one to pick up the win. The win advances the girls to their next regional game on Saturday, September 10th at 12:00 against Illini Bluffs, at Illini Bluffs.

The Cross Country team will travel to Porta tomorrow for a meet starting at 10:00 am. Good
