Did you know that this year…next Tuesday will be 2.22.22???? We’re going to celebrate the unique day that won’t ever happen again! You can celebrate it by wearing your favorite TUTU to school or Double Up on your clothing or accessories…for example wear 2 shirts, 2 different socks, 2 necklaces…be creative! If you participate, you’ll receive a Raider Buck!
Yearbook group pictures will be taken next Wednesday, February 23. The following groups will be taken: Scholastic Bowl, Student Council, Beta Club, Chorus, and Band.
The High School FFA is having a canned food drive competition. The homeroom that is able to donate the most pounds of food by the end of the drive will win an ice cream party and the teacher of that class will receive a $25 gift card! The deadline for the drive is next Friday, February 25th.
Scholastic Bowl had a VERY close first game against South Pekin last night and won the second game!
Game 1: Lost 155-145
Game 2: Won 145-80
7th grade won against Greenview 22-25, 25-12, and 25-18. Addison Friedrich and Emma Junkin both had 8 aces. Addison Friedrich had 10 hits and Amelia Meeker had 6.
The winner of the door decorating contest is Mrs. Fisher and Mrs. Henry’s! We will get them their prizes once Mrs. Fisher returns to school.
