Our Lady Raider basketball team went duck hunting last night! 7th grade fought hard until the very last second, victorious over Havana 17-15. Saige Koontz led the way with 9 points, with Cashlin Abbott and Evan Meeker adding 4 points each. Eighth grade girls were victorious against Havana. Kynlie Hilst and Kallie Herrman each had 14. Libby DuWaldt had 9, Evan Meeker had four, and Emma added two in the 43 to 19 victory. Great Job Raiders!
Student Council will be sponsoring a MCMS Bonfire Night on Friday, October 30th, 6:00pm-7:30pm! The cost is $5.00 if you purchase tickets in advance, ticket sales will be sold at lunch on 10/19-10/21 and 10/26th! The admission price will be $7.00 per ticket the night of the bonfire, make sure to purchase your admission in advance for the cheaper rate. Admission includes hot dogs and 1 smores kit. Additional smores kits can be purchased for $1.00! Make sure to purchase your ticket ahead of time and enjoy a night of food, games and music!
Student Council is sponsoring a Pumpkin Decorating Contest! Decorate a pumpkin in a creative way! They can be painted and hot glued, but please NO CARVING! Make sure they are appropriate for school. Decorated pumpkins can be submitted starting October 19th-October 21st! Students will vote on Thursday, October 223nd and parents can vote at Parent/Teacher conferences 10/22 & 10/23! 1st place: $10 Casey’s gift card, 2nd place: Giant Pumpkin Pie & 3rd Place: Bag of Caramel Apple Suckers!
Boys Basketball Sign Ups are on the Scoop board, if you plan to try out you MUST have an updated sports physical and completed athletic registration before tryouts! Athletic Registration directions are located under the sign-up sheet. PLEASE take a registration form and give it to your parents before tryouts on October 19th and 20th!
