The Midwest Central Raiders showed championship grit on Thursday night, battling past Illini Central in a thrilling 28–27 victory to claim the 8th Grade Regional Championship. It wasn’t easy—but championships never are. Jaxton Bolen led all scorers with 14 points, Jase Canada added 10 points, while Sam Dierker and Mason Crockett came up with huge buckets down the stretch to keep the momentum on the Raiders’ side. Congratulations to Sam Dierker who was chosen as the Sportsmanship Pin recipient!
The win improves Midwest Central’s record to 21–4 and marks an incredible milestone—three straight regional championships in three years for the Raiders program. The Raiders will compete in the Sectional game against Mossville on their home court on Monday, lets pack the house and send our boys to STATE!
