Cheer Open Gyms will be held Tuesday, September 9 & 10th from 3:00-5:00 at the Primary School (a shuttle will bus students to the primary school)

Cheer tryouts will be Friday 9/12 Starting at 3:00pm at the Primary School. The cheer tryout sign-up sheet and requirement packets are located on the Uno Board.

Reminder students who are interested in cheer that Coach Davis needs all paperwork by the 10th (last open gym). Also, if you can't make the open gyms, please let Coach Davis know you plan on trying out still. Please have an updated physical and completed athletic registration by the first open gym.

Girls’ basketball open gyms begin September 15th, 3:00pm-5:00pm. Tryout sign-up sheet is located on the Uno Board and an updated physical and a completed athletic registration is required before open gym! Tryout dates and times are TBD. If you are trying out for girls basketball there are informational flyers to take home located on the Uno Board, please grab one during study hall or on your way to PE.

MCMS Raiders Softball defeated Deer Creek - Mackinaw Braves 11-1 on Thursday thanks in part to nine runs in the first inning. Sophia earned the win for MCMS Raiders Softball, striking out six. Peyton Collins went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead MCMS Raiders Softball in hits. Peyton Bernshausen paced MCMS Raiders Softball with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game. Kynlie stole two bases. MCMS Raiders Softball were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. The softball team travels to Norwood tonight.

The MCMS XC team participated in Havana last night for their 3rd meet of the season.  The weather was nice, and their times were fast.  All runners ran their best times of the season with many running their best times ever. The times ranged from :25 to 6:04 better.  Kennedy Prather ran the best she has ever done by running 6:04 faster than her last meet. The top 15 runners in each division received a medal for their accomplishments. Jaina Butler placed 6th. Reid Sidders placed 10th and Carson Campbell placed 11th.  

Good luck to the baseball team traveling to Rankin to play at 4:15.
