THURSDAY LUNCH: Thanksgiving Dinner. The lovely kitchen ladies will be serving Turkey w/ a dinner roll, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans and an apple crisp. Please note this will be the ONLY option for lunch on Thursday. If you do not want the thanksgiving dinner, please plan accordingly and bring a cold lunch.
Anyone that wants to tryout for Volleyball, a sign-up sheet and a schedule of open gyms and tryouts are posted on the “What’s Poppin” board.

8th Grade Girls Basketball finished in 3rd place in the Logan County Tournament Saturday in Mt. Pulaski. MC lost 30-15 in the first game to Mt. Pulaski, Kenzie and Julia had 4 points, Peyton 3, Nora 2 and Kallie 2. MC beat Chester East Lincoln 48-15 in the 2nd game. Kenzie led the way with 14, Julia 12, Emma 6, Sophia 5, Nora 4, Charlie 4, Molly 2 and Kallie 1.Girls’ basketball team travels to Pekin to play against Rankin! Good Luck Raiders!
The Boys Basketball team kicked off their annual Tip Off Classic with a clean sweep of the Hartem Stags with the 7th graders picking up a 39-32 victory and doubling them up in the 8th grade game 49-21 on Saturday morning! With the wins both Raiders basketball teams move to 1-0 on the young season with their next game being a home matchup on Thursday against Lincoln!
PENNY WARS: Bring in your change or dollars and have fun! The Team Time with the most money gets a pizza or breakfast pizza party! Any extra money will go to Miss Mooningham-a 5th grade teacher currently battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
