The 7th grade Lady Raiders continued their blistering start by making easy work of the Dee-Mack Braves on Thursday evening

. These ladies were in attack mode from the tip off as they jumped out to a 16-0 lead after the first quarter and never looked back. Peyton led the Raiders with 11 points while Sophia had the hot hand in the 2nd half and drained 9 points on 4-4 shooting and 1-1 from three-point land. The 7th Graders shot a solid 51% from the field while defeating the Braves 39-11. Through their first three games, they have outscored their opponents 127-20!The 8th grade ladies had their first true test of the season with a very physical Dee-Mack squad. In a defensive battle from start to finish, the Lady Raiders were still able to jump out to a nice 16-5 lead at halftime. Dee-Mack came out from halftime and went on a 10-0 run to make it a new ball game and the Raiders shots just weren't falling as they fell short for their first loss of the season by a score of 25-19. Kenzie was big for the Raiders on both ends of the floor collecting six blocks and leading the Raiders with 7 points. Julia continued to be physical in the paint and grabbed a team high 6 boards. The Lady Raiders will travel to Tremonton Tuesday at 5:30 to take on the Turks!

The MS Running Raiders competed today at a Alpha Park in Bartonville. The meet was the largest meet they will run in this season. The course was probably the 2nd hardest course they have ran on this year. They did not disappoint me or others watching them today. Many set personal best times for the season on a challenging course. Jaina Butler ran her best time of the year with a time of 14:33.5, placing 62nd. Reid Sidders ran a time of 15:50.6, placing 110th. Carson Campbell ran his best time of the year with a time of 15:52.9, placing 111th.

HAPPY STATE BOUND DAY!!!
