The 7th grade Lady Raiders continued to dominate the defensive side of the ball on Tuesday evening by holding their second consecutive opponent under 10 points in a game! They jumped out to a comfortable 17-5 lead at halftime, then pressed the gas pedal to the floor in the second half as they cruised to a 42-8 victory over Limestone Walters. There were THIRTEEN girls in the scoring column with Tenley, Peyton and Zoey leading the way with 6 points each.The 8th grade Lady Raiders were once again hot out of the gate with their defensive pressure and offensive strikes taking an early 20-5 lead going into halftime. Their work was not done as they continued to make things very difficult for Limestone on both sides of the court taking this home opener victory by a score of 37-12. Kenzie led all Raiders with 15 points and Julia added some hard-nosed points in the paint with 12.The Raiders have their second home game this Thursday as they take on Dee-Mack at 5:30pm!

Almost every one of our runners set a PR (personal record) for our home course today.  We celebrated Ashton Campbell today during our 8th grade recognition night. Jaina Butler led the girls team and broke a new school course record.  Jaina placed 2nd overall with a time of 14:53.9. Reid Sidders and Carson Campbell battled to the finish with Reid edging Carson for a 7th place finish and a time of 15:57.8.  Carson placed 8th with a time of 15:58.34. Ashton Campbell sprinted to the finish and passed a competitor at the end for a time of 18:03.06, which was good for 10th place.
