Midwest Central Lady Raiders defeated Lincoln 8-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to five runs in the fifth inning, bringing their record to 14-3. Midwest Central Lady Raiders extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the third thanks to RBI singles by Julia and Ayla. Julia earned the win for Midwest Central Lady Raiders. The hurler allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Sophia collected the save, striking out four, allowing one hit, and walking none in four innings of work. Julia and Ayla each collected two hits for Midwest Central Lady Raiders. Julia and Ayla each also drove in two runs. Midwest Central Lady Raiders had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Kenzie and Julia led the team with two walks each. Julia and Mckenzie each stole multiple bases for Midwest Central Lady Raiders.

The team also celebrated their 10 eighth graders last night as well! Congratulations Emma, Mckenzie, Kenzie, Sophia, Maci, Ayla, Julia, Alyssa, Neveah, and Kendall! Next up for Midwest Central Lady Raiders is a game at DeeMack on Thursday.
